About Our "What Veggies Eat" Program

Our new “What Veggies Eat” science-on-the-farm program is an exciting new addition to our field trips. It teaches kids about all of the different nutrients veggies need to “eat” to grow healthy and strong.

This is a fun, interactive way to learn about root strength, soil quality, and all that it takes to grow our food.

This program is certified to meet common core standards up through the 5th grade. We have resources available for teachers to continue on with this lesson back in the classroom. What a fun way to take a piece of the farm back to school with you!

Important Reservation Information

You will arrive at your scheduled time and check in your group. You will be escorted to your age appropriate science lesson by one of our team members. After your lesson you will be given an hour of free time to play on our attractions (listed above) as your group is interested. You will receive a text 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pumpkin time as a reminder to meet at the pumpkin patch near the kids maze where our staff will help your group pick their pumpkins.

The pumpkin picking is the last stop before you leave to make hauling pumpkins throughout your time with us easier. You are welcome to use any picnic areas for snack on the farm after your pumpkin time if you would like. You can collect your class pumpkin from the patch behind the country store on your way out!

We look forward to having your class on the farm!
